“Reconnecting families back to their lives”

The uniqueness of Our House is to provide intervention strategies and early preventative measures designed to deter juvenile crime and truancy within our community. This program focuses on at-risk youth and families in need. The primary goal is to help these teenagers channel their energy and talents into positive ventures and deter them from truancy, law violations, and family disruption. Our program will aid the family unit in developing plans of action for self-identified concerns to strength the family bond.

The objectives of the Our House program are to address and treat the root cause(s) of the negative behaviors and substance abuse if applicable; increase participant’s problem-solving capacity; enhance self-esteem and interpersonal skills; help participants uncover their talents, interests, and future goals; reconnect them to family and community; and involve them in education and community programs to continue nurturing their personal assets and future goals. Our program will aid the family unit in developing plans of action for self-identified concerns to strengthen the family bond.
